Converged’s IPCC PBX refers to an IP PBX system which is software based and enables you to run your entire telephony system on your existing computer network. This eliminates excessive hardware and manual programming.
It is a fully scalable platform that is supplied in four different hardware builds to cover the bulk of the SME and Sub-Corporate market. The 50 allows for approx. 50 users, the 100 allows for up to 100 users, the 150allows for up to 150 user and the Enterprise version is Taylor Made to spec.
The Converged IPCC offers a multitude of features not found on legacy PABX systems.
The converged IPCC PBX is a complete package fully loaded with all applications; which are easily unlocked, dependent on customer requirements. Depending on your company’s size and idividual requirements, the features can be easily added via Coverged’s remote support team. This means that as you expand, or your requirements change, adding users and upgrading is done via remote support, dramatically reducing maintenance costs. Any features not pre-loaded or not available, can be developed at a cost with our in house developers.
The Converged IPCC platform uses VoIP technology and is ready for routing outgoing calls to Converged Voice.
The Converged PBX is a complete system having its roots in ten years of software development and customization.
It runs on an open source platform and provides all of the features you would expect from a PBX and allows for tight integration over an HTTP API. The Converged PBX does voice over IP in many protocols, and can interoperate with almost all standards based telephony equipment using relatively inexpensive hardware providing better redundancy, failover and clustering than traditional systems because all hardware is server based
Not only does The Converged PBX provide Voicemail services with Directory, Call Conferencing, Interactive Voice Response and Call Queuing when configured as a PBX, it can also provide these features to traditional systems as a companion device. It has support for three-way calling, caller ID services, ADSI, SIP and H.323 (as both client and gateway). Check the Features section later in this document for a more complete list.
The Converged PBX needs no additional hardware for Voice over IP. The Converged PBX supports a number of hardware devices, either internal to the systems or external over a network.
The Converged PBX supports a wide range of TDM protocols for the handling and transmission of voice over traditional telephony interfaces. The Converged PBX supports US and European standard signalling types used in standard business phone systems, allowing it to bridge between next generation voice-data integrated networks and existing infrastructure. The Converged PBX not only supports traditional phone equipment, it enhances them with additional capabilities.
The Converged PBX provides a central switching core, with four APIs for modular loading of telephony applications, hardware interfaces, file format handling, and codecs. It allows for transparent switching between all supported interfaces, allowing it to tie together a diverse mixture of telephony systems into a single switching network.
